I bought some tools out of OKC. Anybody near there that can pick up and hold or ship for me?
A small portable parts washer (new) and a transmision hoist (the field collapsable type) and a puller of some type. Came on 1 or 2 pallets but I'd think would fit in a trunk of a car or come close to it.

I'm more concerned that it get picked up in one piece and everything is there.

Thanks all. WARTHOG is gonna do the pickup and then we'll start working the transportation. Not sure if anyone is coming west / southwest of OKC but if there is, we might be able to do this on the Steel Soldiers Express. If not, I may end up doing the trip in the CUCV----or maybe the deuce IF there are other wins or others want to tag along.

Wow, El Paso is really ......west! I had one of those tranny hoists. It was such a dissapointment. The concept and idea was great, fit to a deuce is poor. Either have to remove both seats or pull like ****. If the cable wound up on the opposite side of the drum it would work better.

Thanks. If we can't SS express it, then I'm looking at a drive to OKC to pick them up. If anyone needs small stuff from OKC to the El Paso area, let's organize movement. Right now I'm planning to drive my M1009.

Others let me know if I can help.

Gee Kenny, that'll really help me selling it for 1000.00 dollars. LOL

I think you're using it wrong. Clint likes his.

Perhaps I did use it wrong. I've been referred to as not being the sharpest knife in the drawer. And for those that have been around for a while, the village idiot.

I wonder if Phil will be doing a roadtrip soon. Seems like he always has something going with the CUCV-II. Oh wait he crapped out that new engine. Never mind.

Super, super, SUPER BIG THANKS to Warthog for picking this stuff up and storing it this long and taking the time to meet up with my slovenly appearing, homeless looking dude from the west corner of TX.

BTW, I reached my assembly point A and will depart to pick up more stuff for Aberdeen on Saturday. So at least I am on the east coast.
