i am planing to paint my duece but where on earth can you get the original green paint? i have thought about going with the camo look are there any tricks to it? is it a challange? i want it to match my original bed cover. thanks

I agree he does do a good job with paint but remember that three color camo is not the ORIGINAL paint scheme for the deuce. They were were painted Vietnam era Olive Drab first and then later painted in the 3 color woodland camo, or the three color desert camo, or solid desert tan, solid green, or as other missions required.
Rapco Parts is an excellent source for paint in the Ft. Worth, TX area and you can buy a 4 gallon kit for about $110 plus shipping if you are going with the 3 color for example. 2 gallons of the base coat and 1 gallon of each of the other two colors.
Good luck and you as you probably know by now that you MUST post pictures or you will be "ribbed" for several days to come afterwards.

Now remember that this is not the REAL C.A.R.C. which you don't want anyway due to application / health hazards while curing but it does look just like it when dry.
Contact Rapco and you can get a rattle can of the colors that you think that you want and then try them out on some parts of the truck or something else laying around.
If you like it then you can go fo the larger quantities.

Some deuces came with carc from the factory. The last trucks were made in the late 80's and by that time they were coming out with the three color. So, some trucks did come with three color or just green carc. Most did come out with the semigloss OD.
