Painting over chrome???

Can & how the best way to paint a chrome bumper????

I have just washed and painted them and the paint has stuck a couple years. If you want a show type paint job sand and prime just like you would anything else.

Many years ago (20+) I wrecked my 880 and could not find a bumper that was not chrome. So I got a power sander and some 200 grit wet and dry, wet sanded just to rough it up. Used a good primer and put the OD to it. It still has not come off. Good luck

Sandblast would be the best, sanding will work just fine prime and paint.

depends on how much work your willing to put into it, sandblast would be best.
