panel adhesive repair?

The hood on CUCVs is an adhesive bonded inner frame to outer panel, on my 1031, a few of the adhesive spots have separated. This causes some minor "oil canning" which I noticed during rust blush repair (failed e-coat and oxidized CARC caused light rust).

What is the best adhesive for fixing this? I just have 2-3 spots and don't want to buy $60 in Henkel adhesives.

You should be able to get panel adhesive for under 40 dollars. Take the plunge and do the entire hood.
