Parking light problem.

My FD has a surplus M35. Recently, the parking/running lights stopped working and we can not figure out why. Headlights, brake lights, and turn signals/hazards all still work.

I have a wiring diagram and tried jump strait from the hot wire on the wiring harness to the wire that went to the running lights but it still didn't work. Tha bulbs appear to be in good order, am going to replace them anyway.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Poor ground. I know, it sounds dumb, but any time I have lights that do not work, I clean the grounds, replace the bolts and star washers. Interior/exterior star washers are available from Grainger.

Having a poor ground causes all kinds of problems.

The forward facing "running" lights are not on when the headlights are on.
Put the lower left lever on the 3-lever switch in "park" position for forward facing amber lights..

Edit: Agree with dabtl.....
