well, as some of you may know, last week i had a bit of an accident in the deuce involving ice/snow covered pavement, and a guard rail. was comming around a turn at 25-30 mph, and the back end swung right, i counter steered too much and it came left and the drivers tire impacted the guard rail and sheard the front passenger spring perch from the fram, and the steering arm that comes from the box, through the frame, to the pitman arm. working on trying to get the beast on flat ground due to where the wrecker was forced to leave me.

pics finally attached

also, pics of the tree i will be tieing a come along to to winch it backwards to more level ground, and the view of the rear standing at the tree, its about 50 feet. few more pics to follow

stay safe :deadhorse:

made a mistake, tree is in this set, and a different shot of the sheared arm

Glad it was a guard rail that got damaged.

The damage doesn't look too bad for the amount of force that broke the rivets.

after further review, the rivets may have gave when i attempted to reverse up the hill under power, it didnt happen, though i heard a faint pop over the engine and my earplugs. but the tire is the only thing that hit the rail, no bumper, frame, or side. btw, the rivits are passenger side. thanks guys. i honestly thought the gusrd rail WAS NOT going to stop me

working with juddspaintballs, i helpped him out with a part at the breakfast last month, so hes trying to give me a hand, he has a parts deuce, and i have a fre source of grade 8's to replace the rivits, thanks again guys, hardest thing will be R&R-ing the steering box, IP is in the way of a cover bolt, but i have the article on doing it and the man with the plan lives near by for assistance if needed [thumbzup]

and yes, that rear winch would be great, but i might be borrowing a 5-ton come along to attach to that nice tree in the pick, its about 8 foot around, should hold the deuce
