please identify these 28-volt power supplies

Saw a couple 28-volt power supplies from the last time I went up to Colemans in PA. One is big, about 90 lbs, data on the tag is shown in the pics. The other is smaller, painted white, maybe 10 pounds. I don't have a pic of the data tag on the smaller unit.

Anyone familiar with these power supplies? What are they used with?

The green one says "missile command" so whatever it fits into is no doubt demilled and gone. The second white one is a voltage regulator for the 200 amp (IIRC) alternator in 1960's tanks.

That first unit looks like it would make a nice shop battery charger if you could regulate the output.
