Problem with troop Seats for M929 Dump Truck

I picked up a set of NOS troop seats for the M929 dump truck and when the seats are up they work fine but if you try to fold the down the support legs or to short and if you try to use the holes in the side of bed they are to long for the seats to set level.
Has any one seen how the troop seats should be supported. I am thinking the wrong support legs were put on the seats.

Well the light came on in my little brain and I have no problem now. see pics.
I unhooked the seat part and moved the seat to the holes in the bed. aua
That is why the seat part unhooks and there is holes in the bed!!!!aua

I never understood why they can't get the dump seats flat. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard. Crusher's deuce dump isn't flat either.
