Progress!!!

Well, after months of inactivity due to school, progress was made on the Deuce last night! I got both the windshield frames apart in preparation for new glass (more on that coming soon), and started getting some paint on! My dad had done a little painting before this, but it sure was nice to grab a brush and start getting her green again. Got the front bumper done, as well as a bunch of the bed and some of the cab. Here's some pics, though the lighting sucks. Dialup beware, they're ~800k each:

Yeah, right now our most pressing priority is to get the cab sections painted up so we can put it back together and get it moved back out of the garage. Still more work to be done in there, and it's tough with a Deuce in the way. Also need to get the new windshield glass in.

As for me, I've got one year left of school (boo). I'll find out more specifics probably this coming March or so as to where I'm gonna go and when. Best I can say is that most guys end up starting flight training about 6 months after they graduate, which puts me in flight training about October/November of '06 - but that's just a guess at this point, could go straight in after graduation, could be even longer, I just don't know. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted as I find out more.
