pto dump and winch

my truck was a tank truck but when i got it somebody had removed the tank and pto... I want to put a winch and a dump bed on my truck... will i be able to run both of these using a a pto?

yes. you can get a rear output PTO for the transmission. This transmission rear PTO will only run in one direction also and is controled independantly of the front output. The PTO that was probably removed was the transfercase PTO which is able to run full engine horsepower, something you dont need for a dump hydro system.

I'm looking at a 5 ton that has a complete dump setup. Not really wanting a dump setup, but if I purchase it, that stuff will be for sale.

are the transmission the same in the 5 ton as in the deuce... will the pto bolt to the transmission... i think i read somewhere that on the 5 ton they come out of the other side

No the transmissions are not the same and yes the pto on the 5T is on the opposite side compared to the deuce.

The winch PTO is on the passenger side on a 5 ton. I think the dump works on passenger side.
