Specifically the ones used with the MEP-802a and 803a power plants.

1) which TM has a wiring diagram for these units?

2) Are these open or closed transition transfer switches?

Do you have one of these, or are you looking to DIY one?
I was kicking around DIY'ing a synchronized transfer switch. and wanted to understand the level of tech that went into the official units. My Outback and Xantrex inverters use a transfer switch, but they don't make much of an effort to match voltage. They just get it close, match the phase and transfer the load. It doesn't seem to bother the load.
