I blew the pad light switch on Sunday and the new lever one came today. I went to install the lever switch and it does not
have a screw for the ground wire like the pad one did. I stalled it without the ground wire and the switch worked, just to see if it would.
What do I with the ground wire or do I just leave it unpluged?

thank you
seth

The ground wire was for the key pad ONLY, you can just remove the ground wire, it was a nonsuccessful attempt by the military to make the key pad switch usable and not burn up dashes, or "blow" out in the middle of the night.

I bought a spare lever switch in case there was a problem, a friend replaced his lever switch with a pad switch. Wonder which one will go bad first....hint, not the lever switch!
