Questions Related to Adjusting Valves

Hey Guys,

Need to do a valve adjust on an LDT-465 D, it is making quite a bit of noise. I have a few questions.

1.) Does anyone know what TM covers this? I searched through all the threads, and only one or two mentioned a TM, but I looked through them and I couldn't find anything on adjusting the valves. Maybe I am just crazy. Any help here would be appreciated.

2.) Where is anyone getting their valve cover gaskets from? Who has good prices on them?

3.) The truck pulls pretty good, but it really lacks in higher RPM. Power seems to fall fast after 2000RPM. Will adjusting the valves help with this or should I look elsewhere?

Thanks for any help!

There are four TMs for the engine.... I haven't looked, but valve adjustment has GOT to be in there.

TM 9-2815-210-34-1
TM 9-2815-210-34-2-1
TM 9-2815-210-34-2-2
TM 9-2815-210-34P

I'm not sure about your other questions but someone will chime in.

Regards,
Jon

yea, check in the TM's i want to say its in the -20, but i could be mistaken. just do a "ctrl F" to search the PDF file for valve adjustment or valve lash. its pretty easy to do. you only have the crankshaft in 2 positions to adjust all the valves. Im not sure about the valve cover gaskets. I put some "right stuff" gasket sealer on the old gaskets and it hasnt leaked at all.
