radiator leak by low coolant sensor

before JB weld add a bottle of Barstols stop leak, fill and drive for a while, if a minor leak that will cure it just follow directions, if it does not work your out a few bucks.

You could try to remove the sensor and put some teflon tape around the threads. Maybe you will get lucky and the leak will be gone.

I know I'm crazy but a old dude told me once to put pepper in when it was a minor leak. I thought the same thing but was 17 and pepper from McD's is free:? HAve found 2 packets seems to work best:-D

My rad had the same low coolant level sensor mounting boss leak. Someone had tried to repair it..poorly. My rad guy told me it had to be removed to repair it properly. Put some bars leak in it and drove it for years, it still weeped a little so the system probably couldn't pressurize. Finally got it fixed when my core started leaking..should have done it back then
