Rear alt. support bracket issue..

Guys,
With the weather warm enough now Ive started up some projects on the truck. I was working on adding the rear support for the alternator and that twisted bar that provides the support seems to have the hold on the end that goes onto the engine stud drilled in the wrong space. Yes I do have it on the right way also. It seems to be drilled about 1/4" too far away from where the stud is.
Has anyone had this issue or was there a new bar produced that fixed this issue?

I have had the same issue...but in fact, it really does fit, but you have to loosen everything up, make sure you use the stud on the engine side. I have had some just drop right in no issues, and other that have required me to drill the hole a bit oversize and grind down the edge....but all in all, it was always me that was issue, lol.
