Rear bumper options for Bobbed M35A2 Deuce

I have just bought a pretty nice 1971 AM General M35a2. It has been Bobbed and I would like to install some sort of rear bumper. I feel it needs it to be safe in case someone rear ends me… for their sake , not mine. The frame sits up soo high, it would be the first thing to go right into their windshield before their car hit the rear tires. I would like to get some ideas from others who have bobbed Duece’s. Please post pics of your rear bumpers.

Many standard pickup truck hitches are the same width as our deuce frames. You could put one on your truck and have the bumper slid into that while driving on the street, then pull it out when you go on trails.

You'll want it to play nice with your tailgate.

I like gimpy's idea of having it be removable.
