rear inner axle seal

just need advice do i just tear into the seal to remove it or is there a specific way to remove them? i am about to flip hubs and put on g-20s next air assist steering and then ouverson lockouts on front and one on front rear any help with inner seal will be appreaciated thanks richard

I'm guessing you have new seals to put back on? If so just take a small hammer and tap it off

I found a gear puller worked well. You'll need to put a flat plate, wrench handle or something similar over the end of the axle housing to give something for the gear puller to "pull" against.

I'm guessing you have new seals to put back on? If so just take a small hammer and tap it off

just tap it off, then get something the diameter of it to slip it back on without damaging it
