removing old CARC paint from rubber gaskets and weatherstripping

Anyone have any good tips or products for safely removing old paint from the rubber parts of our MVs? I have multiple layers of old CARC paint that was just slathered onto my CUCV, and I want to get it off the rubber window seals around the windshield and the back glass without damaging the old rubber.
