[2]I have a MB jeep from 1943 s/n 242802 and a Reo M34 6x6.[/2]

[2]I can found the original engine for my truck,but I can buy a continental lds 427 or a ld 465.I think i will can put in my truck but I ´m not sure.I dont know when start and end the produccion for theses engines.I need know it because in Spain you can get the license for the truck if it is original,include the engine.I know the lds and the ld are not original for my M34 but the spanish rules say to my the engine is ok if the engine was built from 1950 to 1980.How can I know the age of any engine?[/2]

Jose,

Ud. puede poner este LDS o LD 465 en el cameon. Los dos son origionales con el cameon desde la factoria. Si ud. puede comprar el motor de LD 465 es que prefiero porque hay profunde mas poder en comparison del 427. Estos motores ellos construen desde los anos 1950 a 1989 equal con el cameon. Puede descansar seguramente conocer todo es legal con el construccion. No importa conocer el ano exacto del motor estar legal. Si ellos con regestracion queren conocer el ano del motor pueden mirar del placo de informacion con el ledo de passenjero en el frente. Alla hay todo del informacion ellos pueden conocer, el ano, poder, reconstruccion si hay y mas. Si ud. tiene preguntas busca por mi. Soy bilingue. Ellos aqui prefeieren escribo en Ingles. Pero esta ves soy escribiando en Espanol ayudar ud. mas rapidamente. Perdon mi Espanol si hay errores.

Thank a lot for your help MR desert Rat.Now I know I must lookinf for a Lds 465 ans transmission for my truck .The problem will be the price and my wife.The first problem will be solution in a few weeks but the second problem will be ..........ejem all for my deuce.
