Hey guys just looking for some clarification, I am getting conflicting stories from various vendors. Do the head bolts on a NHC 250 need to be replaced after I pull the heads? or can they be reused?

thanks
Lucas

Can be reused. Done it several times. If they are pitted then they need to be replaced

they are not stretch to torque yield like in current automotive applications, old school hardened bolts. Remember these engines were designed I think in the 60's or early 70's?
