Welcome to the SS forums.
Not to be facetious but have you downloaded the TMs that are here for free to all?
It is a great way to get to know your truck and all the parts that make it work.
Here is a link to the downloads the first 7 or so will get you started.
The HMMWV is a 4x4 All-Terrain Military Vehicle introduced by the US Army in 1984 also know as Humvee. With over 300,000 units produced and in active service with 70+ countries as well as in civilian use.

So the first thing you need to know is the UOC, Usable On Code
It is located in the Parts TM 9-2320-280-24P-1 a few pages under the TOC (table of content)
As you can see the UOC for your M1097A2 is BVY
If you go to the TOC and scroll down until you get to brakes, you will see reference to service brakes figure 158.
You will see the pads are #11 and the rotor is #13
below that are the part numbers.
If you look at #11 and 13 you will see them listed twice. in both cases the second number 11 and 13 have the UOC of BVY, there are your part numbers.
If the parts Reference only has one entry with no UOC listed then that part fits every HMMWV that particular parts TM covers, #14, 15, 16, 17 are examples of that.
