Running light fuse problem

Started my truck this morning, and after it started I pulled the light switch to turn on my running lights while I when back inside to let the truck warm up. But I pulled it out to far abd turns the headlights on so I quickly pushed it back in not to shine my head lights thru the neighbor's Windows at six am. But when I pushed it in and pulled it back out to the running light position it popped the twenty amp fuse. So I replaced it with another twenty amp fuse and turned them back on and it blew again. I waisted yet another fuse with the same outcome. Any thoughts where to start to look. Thanks James.
