Seat Belt installation

I got a kit to install seat belts in my truck. I have a springer seat. It came with the instructions that are written in latin apparently because I can't make any sense of it. I think the diagrams are shrunken down versions of the original. I'm literally looking at them with a magnifying glass. Anyone have pics of theirs installed? I see there is an option to weld a bar to the seat frame (included) or just mount them to the back of the cab. If I don't do the bar, I'm guessing that will defeat the purpose of a spring seat. It will go up and down, the belts will the loosen and tighten and maybe crush something important on my lap area.

It is the official seat belt upgrade kit.

Thanks.

I would not go to the cab. Really needs to be installed to frame.
If you went to cab you would have to place some large plates on back of cab so you don't have them pull right through the cab in a accident.

I just found the PDF, for the MWO. Makes much more sense than the instructions that came with the kit. Thanks! I also see that the rod attached to the seat (for a springer) is not an "option". Guess I need to find someone to do a little welding for me.

seatbelt installation holes for clearance + bushings

So, why do they use such odd hole dimensions: .0531", .344", .656"??
In the attached MWO9-2320-200-35-1 appendix B pages B1 + B3
the holes are drilled with what should be "around".

.531" is a 17/32" drill which is the tap drill for 5/8-11P
.344" is a 11/32" drill found in normal drill index kit
.656" is a 21/32" drill which is the tap drill for 3/4-10P

One may find the 17/32 and the 21/32 in the "turned down" pile that someone made to fit in a pistol drill, very handy or that is what a Silver+Deming kit is for.

The holes are for Clarence.
You remember Clarence?
He always needs a little extra room, like about a 64th (.015") on a side.
That's what I was taught in the 60's, now you have it.
Remember Clarence.

What's our vector, Victor?:p

Got the rod welded to the seat. Drilled the holes through the vertical cab reinforcement. Darn, can't get the hole through the diagonal support. Gonna need to rent or borrow a right angle drill.

And yes, I ordered some Rapco paint to match the seat frame. That was the only green I had.
