Seven pin trailer plug

Think my multi meter is wacked out or I am not getting a good reading.
Is the seven pin plug in on the rear 12 or 24 volts. Tanks

Ether goes in the engine when it is cold, not your multimeter; no wonder it is whacked out . 12 vdc is what you should have.

Yea was wondering why it went to red line and died. Thanks for reminding me I can not spell.
