Several Deuce Questions

I was checking all my axle vents and transmission vent today and realized that the vent in front of the shifter is not there. There was a allen head plug in its place. I tried to remove it but it must be very soft metal and is now stripped. Any sugestions as to how to get it out and should I try to find a vent to install?

Also, when changing all the filters, is there any recommended order such as oil, primary fuel and secondary fuel or does that matter?

You could pull the top of the trans off and re-drill and tap that port for a vent. I think it would make no difference what order you change the filters, just so you change them.

You can take the floor pan out and grease your drill bit with heavy grease and drill (Very)slow the grease will contain the shavings and grease your tap also . Have done this many times without any problems . Have agreat and safe day,Dave

try a big easy out in the allen hole, try a trucking supply for the vent.

Can't help with the plug, but there should be a spring vent there. No order to the filters just replace all of them. I would change all the fuilds and bleed the brakes. Also, if the brake fuild is purple then it's fairly new, if golden then it's old. Clean out all the drain valves on the fuel filter canisters. Sometimes they get full of rust.
