I was told by GL recently that all SF97 requests were to be submitted online, they are not accepting faxed requests.

Just did my SF97 online, a lot easier than the fax method. When I received my SF97 back the other day there was a memo with it stating that all SF's are now to be done online.

Anyone know if it is possible to request an SF97 if you buy a truck second hand and the seller didn't get one? I would guess no, but don't really know.

I would think that if the seller recently got it from GL he should still be able to get it and then transfer it to you. Its worth a call to GL, assuming it came from GL.

GL is supposed to issue SF97 for back purchases up to 1 year

They are going back more than one year now but the original purchaser will need to get the SF-97 for you.
