Shifter indicator and 4wd shifter indicator broke....

You know the red line that moves and shows you which gear your shifting it into... well that broke and a month or two ago the same thing happend but on shifter that turns 4wd on. anyone have the parts for either (more importantly the PRND12 indicator parts)

Hit up a you pull it yard. That type stuff is almost free at most of them.

You first need to Disassemble them to determine what is wrong before you just buy parts. Both of mine were broken but were easily repairable without any cash output. The culprit in both assemblies was old hardened grease. I did need to super glue the transfer case indicator slide and scrape and re-grease.

My shift indicator was broken when I bought my truck. $5 from a junk yard. Wish all the repairs were that easy.
