Silicone Brake Fluid

On the dash, and near the master cylinder there are "Cautions" that read:

Caution : Add Silicone Brake Fluid only! MIL-B-46176

I have read here, others speaking on DOT 3 & DOT 5 brake fluid, but not Silicone brake fluid. Is this very common in the Deuce & other MV's with the juice brakes? Thanks

.....But avoid at all costs, DOT 5.1....it's not silicone. BFS can be had from numerous vendors for around $30 a gallon. You will find many discussions on BFS with a search. Parts store BFS will cost ya. Oh yeah, don't run into your Local NAPA and request BFS, its a military term.
