site takes me back to front page when clicking out of a post

I had this problem before, went away ,now back. When viewing a post, when I click out of it, site takes me all the way back to top of page, or all the way back to front page, can anyone help? No other problems. Thanks, Rod.

That's a new one by me. "click out" explain on that one? Using the back button?

Just hitting left arrow button in upper left corner which should take me back to previous entry. Does not do it all the time. Thanks for your reply.

Ok, that's going to be a fault of your browser as the back button should display the previous page listed. Perhaps it's not caching your history correctly and simply resorts back to the root address instead. What browser are you using? Have you tried another browser?

I use windows 7, not very computer literate, I`m not sure what a browser is. I never had this problem with old format , don`t know if that means anything.

I'm going to assume you're using internet explorer (default browser with windows). Do you have anything else loaded like firefox or chrome?

No, I bought from Best Buy, what ever they had loaded is what I have. What I don`t understand is why sometimes it works ok and some time not. Thanks for taking the time to help me.

Could you possibly load say firefox or chrome to see if you can duplicate the issue?

I would have to call a computer guy to do it, I`m not able.

Installing another browser isn't that difficult. Here's the link to download the latest version of firefox.

Just download and run through the install, the defaults should be fine (and it will carry over your favs/cookies).
