Hello i’ve been reading up on converting my truck to a manual it’s a 1986 m1028 and I want to put a sm465 in it but I need to re-gear the differential if I’m going to go on the freeway at 65-70 miles an hour where will the rpm be with 4:10 gears and LT235/85R16???

thanks guys!

Just remember that you will have to change the differentials to use 4:10 gears...

My 79 K20 has the SM465 and 4:10 gears paired with Toyo 255 85r16's. According to my tach, I'm going 65mph at 2400rpm's

I thought about doing the same swap to my 86 M1008, then remembered that 1st to 2nd gear change on an SM465 might bog down a 6.2 diesel a lil bit
