soft top cucv?

Can anyone confirm if the military even used a softtop K5 style blazer? A friend of mine said he saw what he thought was one on a car hauler but didnt have his camera. It had all the looks of being military but the back end which would of been a hard top was soft according to him. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Deny. Units are very creative so it's possible in that sense but it wasn't an offered or authorized mod.
