Sound in intake

When I have the air filter box off I can hear a quiet suck suck suck sound from the drivers side intake hole. It is pretty subtle and has been doing it since I can remember (about a year at least) I think it has been there since I owned it. What could it be? Truck runs fine and has same amount of smoke out of both pipes. Is it the design of the intake since the divers side has a different shape then the passengers side? Anyone else notice that?

What is the best way to tell if it is a valve or other important issue?

I havent't noticed any sound like you described, but also I am running one of gimyrobs open plane intake manifolds.

Is there an easy way to see if there is a lifter or valve issue?

I'll bet the noise is really the CDR valve on the pass side or its where the CDR valve hose connects at the front of the engine fill tube.

Hmm, cdr was leaking a little oil into the intake.
