Duties/Responsibilities:
- Locate and Identify sources of obsolete spare parts
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry specific vendors
- Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
- Submit RFQ’s and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
- Analyze price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
- Negotiate, or renegotiate with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.

Requirements
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University
- 6 years experience with sourcing product for Military LAND vehicles and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to locate obsolete parts or have an end of life product knowledge for Military Land Vehicles
- Minimum 10 years experience without degree
- Advanced computer software skills; Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Advanced communication skills
- Advanced negotiating skills also required
- Ex-military preferred.
