Hello folks, I wanted to ask the Deuce community for a little input regarding spin on filter bases that I make for the MEP-002 thru 005 generators.
A fellow S.S member asked if I had checked to see if the same canister base ( which my adapters replace ) are used on any other military equipment.
Truth is, no I really haven't.
It looks like the M35 may use a similar base but with larger fittings for the inlet and outlet lines.
I was wondering if anyone knows off hand what size the line threads are on these bases?
Also, do you know if the mounting bolts are also 3/8"-18 bolts on a 2" x 2 1/2" pattern?
I was considering making a modified version of the generator filter base, seen here:
With the correct thread sizes for the Deuce.
If the community thinks they would have any use for them?
I see that Jatonka makes an adapter kit already.
This would not be an adapter, but rather a new base that would totally eliminate the original mount base and eliminate all the extra parts and gaskets associated with an adapter.
Your thoughts and comments are welcomed.

Last week I mentioned developing an easy to use spin-on fuel filter adapter for use rather than the the WIX 24470 Here is a look at the first production parts off the CNC machine and mounted on my 002A for your viewing pleasure. These adapters drop right in place of the original Fram canister...
