Hey I am new writing in a forum and SS but I have had a deuce for 2 years now. I am in the middle of bobbing it and I am having a company cut out patterns for new spring mounts. I am having them made out of 1/2 inch steel and will look a lot like the originals. I was wandering if you all had any suggestions and if anyone would be interested in a set. Sorry no pics yet just gave them rough measurements and will be finalizing them later this week.

I had some of my friends look at mine and they sugested using Freightliner FLD front springs and mounts on the rear of the m35. They said the springs are extra long and should make it ride better.

yes I am building them for the m105 springs and I will come up with something to utilize the helper springs. I really did not like the idea of the outboard spring mounts plus I would like to put rear steer on mine in the future and that would limit travel.

kc5mzd That sounds like a good Idea I already have the springs and the mounts look like they are going to be a really good price so I am going to stay with them but it the ride is to hard to take I might switch it up later

Sorry to dig up an old post but did you get your M105 springs mounted? I have been thinking about going this route since I have not had any luck locating M35 front springs. Can you post pictures?
