Starter run on. Fixed but burned up some stuff

Hi my name is mike. This is my first post. My m1008 had the starter run on problem. It burned the front batt.and. red cable. So i fix it with the doghead conversion. But everything starts fine. But my gen 1 stays on. So i had my alt rebuilt. And it still stays along with the volt gauge not working or the wait light. I have a manual glow plug button. Does anyone have any ldeas. Start by reading the stickys. Check and clean all your fuses. And then check your fusible links.

Did you reinstall the ground wire on the GEN1 alternator?

Yes i reistalled the ground wire.
