Here is our 1958 Reo M35a2.
We've had it since '08 and spent a lot of time on body work and paint but it turned out really nice. My Father, kids, and I have all worked on this and we love it!
We have taken it to parades, rides in the country, grocery store, work, and of course camping a lot!

The best part is the stories that Veterans share with us about their service to our country!

A couple pics from a small local MV meet (baby shower+2 vehicle convoy).
Ours is the CARC one (nearest), the OD Kaiser is englishmauser's (Jim)

2 for 1

Vintage Iron and I, Cape Coastie, have done a tremendous amount of work on these two trucks in the past few months. Those included swapping hub adapters from my M923 to V.I.'s M936 before we removed his engine and trans and put it in my truck. We got mine up and operational and the installed a Cummins Big Cam in V.I.'s truck and now that is also up and operational. Not bad for 2 sometimes 3 guys doing all the work. Photos below.

What is the strange contraption behind the truck?
My Daughter is behind it in one of the pictures so be careful!
In the voting picture, my M35A2 is towing a S280 Maintenance and repair shelter, mounted on the correct M720 Transportation Dolly. The dolly will pick up the shelter on the ground using hand hydraulic pumps as power. Allowing you to tow it with your prime mover.

Second pic on this thread is just a M105.

She is behind the trailer, so no disrespect intended.

The M720 looks like an interesting piece of equipment I could use over.

No Lying or campaigning from me... A limited number of vehicles out of the almost 50 that I have owned have moved from "collector" to family status. "Tanner" is one of them. He is loved, worked (but lovingly), and frequently sees more miles in a year then my 67MG or wife's Chevy K2500. These two are also what I consider "life-ers" of the fleet.

My Dad (pappa smerf) found this jeep at Sarafans in Spring Valley N.Y. when going to pick up parts for his Ford jeep in 1985. They were just beginning to unload jeeps from sea containers when he spotted this one. It was in Europe in WWII then rebuilt by the 7845th Ordinance Maintenance Group in Esslingen Germany in 1952 . At some point later it was part of the lend/lease program in Greece. Fast forward to 1985 where after a long boat ride it ended up at Sarafans then to our house. It was a complete jeep as my Dad was able to find the correct windshield that went with that very jeep out of the stack that was there. They were removed along with the wheels for shipping. We got it home and after fluid changes and some marvel mystery oil It fired right up! I was a 14 year old kid at that point but it was impressive even to me. That motor stayed running in there until 2003 when it got tired so my Dad and brother gave it a rebuild and a body off restoration. The body is 100% original with no filler or replacement panels. We are trying to dig up some old pictures now so I can get them up on the site. VOTE JEEP!!!!!!10367163_10201724905945336_8934655320954429216_n.jpg20150613_143130.jpg

My HMMWV is bone stock and unmolested/restored. Other than adding the pioneer rack it is in the condition that she arrived out of military service, right down to the camo over tan paint job.

It has the stock LT6 batteries, troop seats and the cargo cover which I had off at the time the submitted picture was taken.
