Welcome to the June 2014 MV of the month contest. The rules are pretty simple. To submit a vehicle for the drawing:

1. You may nominate another member's vehicle. Or your own.
2. A photo must be submitted with your post.
3. Previous winners from current year cannot be re-nominated. (Current winners: RAYZER, M920, Papabear [proud american], Whiterabbit, vtdeucedriver)
4. One vehicle per user per month. It's to keep things fair. Not everyone has multiple MVs in their fleet. (The OD disease hasn't taken them over yet :jumpin: )
5. We're limited to 20 vehicles in the drawing. I will take the first twenty vehicles submitted. Once we hit twenty, I'll open a poll for the vote.

So let's get this started! [thumbzup]

2. Stretch44875
3. Cucvnut
4. Sharecropper

3 years ago those at the Ga Rally saw this pint size DEUCE when he was first purchased. It was kind of Bobbed and shortened it appeared.

No long after it turned into a full size DEUCE and protector of the parking area down at the Morgans. It is Daniel and Mahala Great Dane. His name is DEUCE.

Hope you see some good humor in getting this Months Real Truck MV poll started._20140315_140049.jpgMG_52971204894136.jpgMG_52987651468223.jpg

I'd like to nominate littlebob's (http://www.steelsoldiers.com/member.php?2137-littlebob) deuce.

He bought a rough looking GSA truck and proceeded to pull it about 70% apart and repaint and refurbish a lot of stuff on it.

I couldn't find a main restoration thread, but he had posted some progress threads:

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?55043-Earning-his-keep

http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?57729-My-bed-is-finally-painted!

Here's what he started with:

And here's where he ended up:

Since Sharecropper did a good job of campaigning last time and was second runner up, I renominate his truck.

Too bad I can't nominate the Weinermobile. ;-)

I hereby nominate Tinwoodsman's WC-51. This has mostly been a one-man restoration and I can assure you that every nut and bolt has been turned/removed/fixed or replaced. I don't think you can find a finer example of this ole warhorse anywhere!

BUMP for the morning crew:

We now have 7 trucks and the pooch. Need 13 more trucks so the voting can begin (Hopefully on the 15th).

Remember, once the voting thread is started nominees/supporters are allowed to lie, kiss dogs, kick babies and bite hands to get a vote for their vehicle.

Patiently waiting for more entries - come on folks - put them babies on here and go for it.

I hear Augdog when it comes time to get votes is going to give personal rides in the TANK if you vote for him - maybe rumors ???? but a great way to get votes. I also heard he might hold a BBQ if he wins ??? Still might be rumors.

I'm going to nominate my deuce. Acquired it 2 years ago by odd luck. At the time I was looking for either another pickup or an old tractor to tinker with. So the compromise was a deuce as it was a way better bargain than a pickup with more capacity, and it had the White engine block that some Oliver tractors used.
