Had storms roll through last night.
Nasty gust front with winds up to 90mph
Overturned Semis on Interstate, trees down, power lines down etc.
Fired up the Unicor NF2D Light tower.
The Kubota engine and Kohler 7k Generator performed flawlessly.
Fairly quiet too.
Ran like a champ in the pouring rain.
Not only did we have power, we also had light to illuminate the area.
Wasn't trying to run everything with it.
Ran Lights, fans, A/C, and TV
Could've done more with power management, but no need.
Only needed it for about two hours or so before main power restored.
Sure it’s not as capable or as sexy as a MEP unit.
But it did EXACTLY what I needed it to do.
And for a fraction of the cost of a MEP.
