If anyone can allaborate on this it would be great. I have a pyro installed pre turbo and I have made what I think is a good adjustment. Prior to adjustment I would get close to 1200 degrees on a fairly good pull. Know its about 1000 to 1100 deg. I understand what too much fuel will do. But has anyone encountered a lean condition of symptoms? I know if the pump is adjusted too lean it wont even start. However, as confident as I am, I was wondering if anyone has had failure or problems with a lean condition. Thanks.

Running a diesel engine too lean is impossible. You won't hurt anything by it, just won't have enough power and as you mentioned, hard starting.

Later,
Joe
