I was cleaning the battery cable ends at the Terminal Block on a M1009.

I noticed that the Capacitor/Suppressor had tape over it and was burnt in to.

Is this item required?

I looked it up on http://www.wbparts.com/rfq/5910-01-189-5152.html , GM Part number 15599225

Never mind. I googled it for myself and I found 5 posts on Steelsoldiers relating to this same part.:mrgreen:

It is a capacitor for the Radio Setup and is not required unless you are running a Radio Setup.

I'm still looking for a source.
