TES 295 Trans fluid

Myself not being able to Leave anything alone called allison about the Trans fluid and they say they now recommend TES 295 full synthetic. Anybody have experience with this? I know it is $30 a gallon. I am about to change the fluid and want to make best decision. Thanks for any help.

I put Dex3/M in mine. The 654 is so old that its doubtful that full-synthetic will help it much over a good Dex3 fluid. Most any transmission fluid is better than the motor oil the military used...
