TH400 to 700r4 swap on M1028

Hey all. I have the opportunity to purchase a used 700r4 4x4 out of a '92 Chevy truck. The guy also has the transfer case, TV cable, and torque converter. I've done a little research but frankly I'm still a novice with transmissions, so any advice or help would be appreciated!
I'd really like to be able to have that overdrive for highway cruising. The TH400 works great but 3 gears gets a little old on long trips.

1992 transfer case will not work.... output shaft is on the other side.
