I just wanted to say thank you to the members here for helping me. You didn't know you helped because I used the search button and found the information I needed. My M1008 was having the gen 2light staying on trouble. I replaced the passenger side alternator with one off of my parts truck and the light is off now. The tan M1008 that was just auctioned from French Camp is my parts truck. The yellow and white 2wd crew cab is going to get all of the tan M1008 body parts as well. When I'm done I'll have a M1008 crew cab too.
