Ok so when I bought the truck the gen 2 light is always dimly lit when the engine is idling and is still doing that. But now the volt meter is going to middle of green when the truck first starts and as the truck gets hot it slowly sinks down to the yellow/green line and just barley stays on the green side. Voltage at gen 1 is 14.0 at Gen 2 is 27.6 and at front battery 14.2 and at rear battery 28.1/28.2. What is the best way to test to see if the volt meter is bad or do those voltages seem unacceptable?

Thanks,
Miles

A quick glance a the manual makes me think those readings are good but there is an entire troubleshooting procedure in TM 9-2320-289-34 starting on page 2-42.
