Tie Downs

Um, I coulda sworn I posted this & now can't find it?

The tie downs on the bed are riveted. I need (actually, Maynard needs) to grind around that area for rust & the tie downs are in the way. The grind off the rivet part is easy, but how do all of ya get the tie downs back on? Nuts' & bolts?

Depends how you want them on there. We have seen the tiedowns welded on, riveted on, and bolted on. I'd prefer welded, it's stronger.
