I don't know how much a M101 trailer weighs, but would it be too much for a Ford Ranger with the 4.0 V6 to tow for about 100-200 miles, plus some trail driving? Thanks for the help.

When I bought my 101, I pulled it 520 miles from Oleans, Ca home to Visalia. I pulled it behind my Dodge Dakota Quad cab.

Even with the tires that were one it and the condition of the hitch, (I probably shoulda never done it for the distance), I never even knew the trailer was there. No squat in the rear from the truck, and towed straight with no fish tailin at all.

Done that on many occasions loaded using my M1009. Ditto with feeling the weight and you will need to be careful with stopping distances especially on wet roads.
