Sept 16, 2012 Westfield River Valley Det. 141 Marine Corps League located in Westfield MA., will sponsor our 5th annual motorcycle run. Previous a Toys for Tots ride , we ran into too much hassle from the local Marine Corps Reserve unit in obtaining a military vehicle to haul the toys. So we have decided to donate all toys from now on to the patients at the Shriners Hospital for Children thus becoming a Toys for Kids / Marines Helping Marines motorcycle run.

Ride info:
starts..........American Legion
Springfield St
Agawam, MA. 0800-100 registration...departure 1000 or shortly after.

Ride route: 57w to southwick, snakes up back roads into Westfield.
20W to Huntington, rte 112 to Worthington, rte 143 thru Chesterfield
rte 9e thru Williamsburg into Leeds, Ma and a mandatory 1/2 hr break at
the VA Hospital . water, rest rooms/ meet/greet and THANK the Vets
for the service and to let them know they are NOT Forgotten in there.

Ride continues down rte 91S to the Holyoke Soldiers Home, goes
back out thru Westfield before ending at the American Legion
Southwick, MA for the pig roast.

Last year we were lucky to have a M24 Chaffee Light Tank, a M37 Weapons Carrier present along with the Vietnam Vets Memorial race car. If any Steel Soldier owners are in the area and have nothing to do that day we welcome you to join us for this event. Event is strictly a Volunteer basis. All food, raffle prizes, music etc is donated by vendors. The only ones we do have to pay are the MA State Police. 1 new unrwapped toy and $15 per person riding.
Static displays, vehicles etc we supply the food.
NO ALCOHOL on ride, alcohol is available at ride ending . This years we hope to have a freightliner from Schneider trans painted with american flag, POW/MIA Flag, along with some other things.
