Trailer pickup at Ft. Benning

Your trailer isn't actually on FT Benning. The govplanet holding area is up US280 in Salem AL which is in Lee county. Didn't know if you knew that.

Well crap, I guess the paperwork is wrong that I got. The auction did say Salem. I haven't called them yet.

I don't know squat about LMTV trailers...do they use the same glad hands as the Proud American 5ton?

Yes, standard glad hands.

As long as the airlines are not cut, you should be good. The brakes on the LMTV trailers have 2 brakes chambers per wheel on the newer ones. Each axle requires 4 caging bolts. The last 4 M322 Engineer Equipment Trailers I picked up all had cut service air lines and the brakes were already caged. Not sure if that is standard policy but it certainly seems like a bad practice. Luckily the M923A0/A1 did not really notice them. Proud American will not really notice an LMTV Trailer behind it even if the brakes are caged. You might get some rabble between Tony and Troy as to who is going to drive it!

No offense to you Drew or anyone else that has one of these but it looks like it fell from the top of the Ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Would look perfect behind an M35A3.
