Typically they'e be finned instead of "turbulated" and just called deep sumps. Additional fluid (albeit only one quart) means additional thermal mass means it takes more energy to get it hot... It also takes more to get it up to operating temperature. The "turbulated cooling tubes" thing looks pretty dumb and over complicated on the surface compared to the more standard finned setup, but I could be missing something. At the very least, they look like they'd want a fairly laminar flow to function as illustrated, and you're not going to see anything remotely close to laminar under a truck like these... Especially right there behind the engine/axle. Technically it will be less likely that you'll over heat and may even run slightly cooler (due to the additional fluid capacity and the additional run time that would be required to get it to over heat), but it'll also take longer to get to operating temp, you'll still run hot if you have a problem, and you lose some amount of ground clearance under the tranny. I'd put it on the same shelf as the fuel line magnets and throttle body spacers.
